He is always talking about s*x, being horny and stuff. is he trying to flirt, or is he just plain dirty?

Hm. I'd say he's trying to give you ideas, or hint things. He's waiting for you to go "Oh yeah me too!" so he can jump at the opportunity. Ha, guy's make me laugh sometimes. Just tell him to shut up, or that you don't want to know. Or hit him. That's what I'd do. But then again I'm brutal to my guy friends.

It seems that you are uncomfortable with him talking about s*x around you.  If you are not interested in him, and you want him to stop talking like this around you, tell him plain that you will leave if he continues to talk like that.  And follow through.  I'm not saying to end your friendship.  But if he makes you uncomfortable again, tell him "I'll talk to you later" and walk away.

As long as all he does is talk about it, you don't have a problem. Its when he wants to start doing it, thats when the problems begin.

You still haven't said how old you two are. That's a fairly important detail.

As for you being friends since you were little kids, well, things DO change once all those hormones start pumping around an adolescent boy and it's entirely possible that he doesn't see you as just another little kid anymore. Who knows? It's possible that you may decide someday that _you_ don't see _him_ as just another kid.

If that should ever happen, be careful. If the thought should ever cross you mind that it might be fun to experiment, be very, VERY careful in both physical and emotional terms.
