  1. Sounds like it may have Fin Rot or just a common fungus,  probably the latter since it isn't just the fins that are breaking out.  Treat the tank with some kind of fungal medication.  I recommend PimaFix.  It is very good for these kinds of things.  To prevent it happening again, check your water quality and correct the problems.  If you don't already, buy a water test kit.  No fish keeper should be without it.  if he has only been like this a day or two you probably have a good chance of saving him.  GOOD LUCK!

  2. try treating him with Pirmafix also you should think of moving your Beta to a 5 gal tank the more room the better bowels aren't really healthy for a beta even though people Market it that way a Beta needs a min of 2.5 gallons temp at 78 to 80 degrees

  3. That means that he is dying. All fish go that way when they die. Their eyes may even grow dull. Just make sure he has a nice clean cage because if the water is really dirty then that may be killing him. As well as give him a good last few days.

  4. well try a dif. kind of food or maybe just face that its dieing

  5. He may have ick - a disease that makes fish have little white fungus dots around their body.

Or he may have fin rot - a disease that rots a fishs' fins.

You can buy treatements at the petstore.

But get your poor betta a bigger tank for Petes Sake!]

    Hope this helps!

    Good luck!
