My betta fish wont eat????

Question

My male betta fish wont eat. He will put the food in its mouth, but then he will like cough it right back up. Whats wrong with him?? Is he sick??

Well if hes not eating you should just leave the food for a couple of hours then remove it keep on putting it dont over feed though. You should give it like 3 betta bits make sure you have the right food.

             But if it is sick you should go to the pet store and buy the medicine they have for fish that will help.But still if it dies i guess you have to get another one i would suppose you get female u can put them toghether.

He will eat eventually. Just keep putting the food in there. when he's hungry he'll eat. Or if youre desperate try some freeze dried bloodworms for treats.

Thats what my female is doing now. My old male (Blisten. R.I.P) Did that too. I stopped feeding him for two days. Then I gave him some and he ate. Good Luck ;]

Your Betta needs a 5g filtered and heated tank. Don't expect him to display happy and healthy behaviour without a proper set up for him.
