My betta has chronic swimbladder infection?

and he isnt eating the treatment which is supposed to be a split pea. i fasted him for 3 days and he still isnt eating the pea. it just sinks to the bottom and i think he would eat it if it stayed at the top. help?

I had that same EXACT problem with mine once.  He would not eat the stupid pea!  I tried everything to get him to eat it - held it at the top, let it sink, put it on a needle and chased him with it.  He ended up not eating for a month, and eventually died.  He couldn't even swim down, he just floated close to the top.  I hope your fishy makes it!

  3. peas dont work you need to go to a pet store and get some fish antiboiotics which cures most things apparently peas take something out of the water to make it easier for the to swim if you really want to get her to eat it take the skin of and hold the squish inside bit in a pair of twezzers at the top and she will eat it good luck

    if she is floating at the top she may af just got constipation it is common in fish
