I usually feed him this Tetra BettaMin mixed flakes thing that he seems to enjoy, with bits of brine shrimp in it... i also have some of those freeze dried bloodworms, but when i put one in, he swims away really fast and gives it a really wide berth and doesnt come back until he knows i took it out. what can i give him as a treat instead?

  1. ...now that is weird... maybe your betta hates dead stuff floating around his tank... try putting in live feeds.... my betta loves the carnage of eating live mosquito larvae... don't worry about the animal rights... millions of other mosquitoes are layin' their eggs somewhere and they're nowhere near extinction..hehehe

  2. ask ur local pet store do they sell beef heart if not u can look a recipe up on the net

  3. just feed it with flakes.

  4. Get some frozen freshwater food.

  5. that is really weird...my betta loves the bloodworms...I always soak the frozen dried guys in the tank water for a minute...and feed them to my betta out of my hand...that way he munches them to the glory..try that...I really dont see a reason for your betta to dislike bloodworms...try brine shrimp...always thaw the frozen stuff in water so that it is soft for your betta to eat...and always soak the dried stuff...
