  1. it wants to be a father!!

  2. It means he is happy and content with his environment and is ready to mate. Betta's are very hard to mate, so I only recommend spawning Betta's after doing lots of research!

  3. It means he is healthy and wants to mate (wishful thinking on his part!)  Male bettas build a nest of bubbles because after they mate, the male carries the eggs from the bottom to the top of the water, and puts them in the bubble nest.

**Edit** Nah, I don't think there's really anything you can/need to do.  I always feel bad for mine too, cuz I just can NOT have anymore fish either lol.  He usually just forgets about it eventually.  It's a good sign that he's doing this, because it generally indicates he's healthy.  You can get him to follow your finger or something, to take away his attention and give him exercise.  I don't know if fish get lonely -- it's too bad male betta's can't have tank mates!

  4. If there's no female in the tank...then, there's nothing to worry about. If there is, well..you might want to get ready for babies.

  5. oooo!   oooo! i know!!! my beta fish does that your fish is making a bubbles nest because he is comfortable so dont worry he is just showing he is comfortable in his home :)
