My bf wants to buy an old 1991 Harley and wants to know What is it Worth?

It has low mileage(7K ) and in good running conditon. I saw it though think a car would be better for him to buy. OH, it is a Stargis Model limeted edition.

You can go to www.kbb.com and look down towards the bottom of the page, it has a place to look up motorcycles, boats, atv's etc.  It will give you the trade in price and the retail price only and the prices are based on approximate mileage, not the actual mileage on the bike.  That's the best place I found.

Since it is a collectors model and only a small number (about 1600) were made, they tend to hold their value a little better than the others.

You could be looking at a $9000 price tag.  It is upto you to negotiate it.  Overall an attractive piece which features the evolution engine.

A car is a different machine and there is no direct comparison.  It is more sensible though.

They made the Sturgis model for two years, I'm not sure of the years, ( 78-79?) but it was before 91.
