  1. ur bulb probably died out. u should call the manafacturer to buy a replacement bulb wich costs about $150.

  2. Almost sounds like you're on the wrong video INPUT...

So, let's see...you turn On the TV set and you hear it running.....

Can you press the menu button and see it ? How about the volume bar...does it appear ?

If it does your TV is working, and you have to press the TV/Video button to find your cable box, or DVD or anything else.

If you can find the DVD but not the cable box, try turning on the cable box....and if it still doesn't get cable , Remove the AC cord from the cable box for 5 minutes to reset the microprocessor.....I've had several of those boxes lock up anc it caused a No Picture, No Sound condition....

But the REAL Key to Knowing your TV set is actually bad is if the MENU won't appear on it at all....the same applies to the volume bar. (except for Philips and Magnavox TVs, they have no volume bar at all)

Now if you don't get a picture or the menu, it's time to call a service tech to come to your home and fix it....

  3. the bulb might have benn burnt or damage.
