Question:

My biology teacher asked me a strange question?

He said that his friend who lived in a place called phonix, said it felt like it was twice as hot there then it was here.

Exact quote: "If it's 70 degrees F here, and my friend in phoenix says it feels like it's twice that, then what's the actual temperature? The answer isn't 140 degrees either"

So I'm stumped, he also said I can't convert it to celsius(Spelled wrong)

  1. The answer is 70 degrees. Your teacher said that it was 70 degrees here and his friend said it "feels" like twice that, but it's not, it just "feels" like it. So the answer should be 70 degrees.  This question was a play on words.

  2. Since 70 is 38 degrees above freezing, how about doubling that and getting 108 degrees?
