My bird's ID bracelet is hurting my bird badly!!?

I have a parakeet and it has an ID bracelet around its ankle where it should be. but now the foot's blood flow has been constricted, and the foot is a dark shade now!! is there any way i can remove the bracelet myself? please please help its an emergency!! all tips welcome, and i mean all of them!! the foot is really swollen!

First you need to keep it as cozy as possible.  Then you need to take it to the vet so they can re-size it or take it off.  Good luck and I hope your bird is OK!

bring your bird to a vet really soon and they will take the tag off :D poor bird :( hope this helped :D

if you can hold the bird securely without smashing it you can have someone get two pair of pliers and pull it apart. it does have a separation place in it right?!!  if nothing else take it to the vet.

Don't try to take it off yourself. It is supposed to be taken off by a vet. My Quaker had one when we bought it, and it was taken off by the vet. Hope this helps. Good day! :)
