  1. He is trying to mate with you. He is horney!

  2. I think he is acting out his frustrations. Is it a male? If so, he probably needs a female. Yes, he could be marking you, but generally birds don't mark things like dogs do. So, he either needs more attention or he needs a female. That would be the only conclusion I could come to. I have 25 years experience with Birds. So, I try to help as many Bird lovers as I can.

  3. I think this is why they are called animals! Ha! Ha!

Our bird has s*x every day on/with the ladder, rope hanging,

and will try with my husbands hand . They are horney little guys, for sure.  There is nothing wrong with them. They are ready to do the nasty.  You've heard the old saying Birds do it,

Bees do it.  There you have it. When he trays that while holding him.  I would suggest making him go in his cage.  They are smart and will catch on.........................................

  4. He has some serious mating issues -- he's trying to have s*x with you, in other words. This can become a very big problem if not taken care of during the right time; he will become aggressive towards anyone else other than you. Read "Guide to a Well-behaved Parrot" by Mattie Sue Athan, a great parrot book that contains some information on such behavior as well. And if you find him doing so with any of his toys, then don't let those toys in the cage for too long. But read the book first and keep doing your research, although it might be a bit hard to filter to the good info on the Internet.
