My bird is way to loud in the mornings and alway wackes me up,what do I do to shut him up?

He is a baby boy that is alway wacking me up in the morning.Please help me.I need some sleep or I am going to pass out.

that's why people cover the cage at night. if it is pure dark in the cage at night, it is healthier for the bird because waking up early (if he stays up late like a human) is not good for the bird either.

get some dark sheets or blankets and cover the cage at night, leaving just a little crack for air at the back of the cage.

don't cover the bird in the *daytime* to shut it up tho -- unless you have a migraine or other emergency, and then only for up to an hour and rarely. covering them makes them shut up but they shouldn't live like that.

Maribeth is right. I have to very very very loud birds and thats what i do. And they sleep till i take the cover off. well sometimes if they hear me brushing my teeth they will yell for me. But if i didnt cover the cage I would be up at sunrise everyday.

Well u wanted a bird and say he whacking u up in the morning.Well why did u buy him then.That's not his fault.U should of take more information before u buy it.Bring him to the vet and ask him if u could put a add in his post board.Or give him to a good home please.

make it dark in his cage until you get up. alwyas make sure its covered w/ a towel or blanet.
