  1. okay, it would be easier if you are talking about a dog, cat, hamster, or rabbit.. any four legged animals. But. okay i will give you the best shot i can. Your bird, since it has been kept as a pet for a while, would not adapt to the wild that well, like some other birds do, so It wld either come back to you, or that you would have to try to find it. Try leaving your door open, and put the cage right infront of the the door, and leave a LOT of food in there.

It all that doesnt help, then i am very sorry, you would have to wait till it comes back to you or you see it somewhere(you never know really, it's really hard to say.) I know some dogs that got lost and ran back to their owner are biking around. Ive heard a lot about things like this so dont bring your hopes down.

if you still cant find it and you really really miss it, maybe you would have to consider buing one that looks just the same as the one before and maybe that would help you feel better :)

if you have any other questions, email me! and i will write back-

i hope you find your bird!

    good luck!!

  2. thats a hard one. I would suggest put his cage out with food. Hopefully he'll remember where he was fed and come back.

  3. Wait, your bird RAN away? Hmm...

  4. Put a open bird cage outside with food in it.  Even if you bought a bird that looked the same I would assume your other bird would still be able to tell the difference.  Also your bird that got loose probably won't be able to survive for long in the wild.  You should definitely try and get him back.

  5. So Sorry...........just keep singing and whistling it's favorite tune.......and when your up........put his friend in front of the window and let him sing a tune and maybe he's lonly too and will hear and see him and fly back thru the window and be sitting on the cage.waiting for you to let him in with his buddy. You know birds of a feather flock to gether..........just try putting his buddy next to the window with the window open and see if he flys in...........all the best.

  6. Take the bird you have not let fly away and put it - in it's cage, outdoors with it's own food and water.  Put it in a place with some shade but where the 'lost' bird can see it easily.  Your bird will hear other birds and will begin to chirp attracting the other bird.

    Birds do not run away.

Learn to trim the primary flight feathers so this does not happen again, IF you are lucky enough to get it back.  Rain, hunger, dehydration and hawks can all kill a bird.

It would help us if you tell us what kind of 'bird' you are referring to.

This was NOT your brother's responsibility.  It is yours only.

  7. you should put it's cage with some food in it outside, it might be tempted to go in and you could close the door right when it hops in. Otherwise your other bird might die :(

    hope you find your bird!

  8. good lluck trying to get it back... if you see it, spray it with a powerful spray of water. then cover it with a towle and return it to its cage. if it can't find food, it will come back to you

  9. Don't you mean fly? Your bird may have already flown away so maybe buy a new bird?
