  1. sounds very natural. Just his way of playing. And he could also be going through his adolescence. And mirrors can cause birds to be more aggressive.

  2. What your bird is doing is natural. In fact it is even good! Many birds will take their anger out on their toys, which is far preferable to taking it out on *You* !!

Some birds adore to destroy their toys! Cockateils and larger parrots can destroy an expensive toy in a shockingly small amount of time! That is why I make my birds their toys instead of buying them from the expensive pet store!!

Try giving your birds a paper napkin to shred or some Popsicle sticks to chew on. Its always better to give them an outlet for their destructive urges. They will be happier and so will you.

    Good luck

  3. Your bird is fine birds like children give their toys personality.  Some will be friendly and they will treat it gently.  Others will be competitors that they will scream at a peck relentlessly.  So this is completely normal and a sign of healthy development.

  4. No, he doesn't have an anger problem birds enjoy thrashing around there cage and playing rough with their toys! Just remember not to try to get him out during this time as he may mistake your finger and crunch down on you!
