  1. you can get online and buy some bath time spray

  2. A bird needs to have a bath a couple of times a week to stay healthy. Birds in the wild naturally take baths in puddles or by the edges of water areas. If you have a pet bird, you should give it this same opportunity. "Rain" can be produced by gently misting a bird from a spray bottle.

  3. you give it a bath =/

    just dont use soap.

  4. give him a bath with shampoo every week or so

  5. you wipe it, ahahhaa

  6. Your bird should not smell like a bum!

He/she probably could use a slight misting with water, don't soak the poor creature, just give a few  mists with a clean misting bottle that has only had water in it. (you can get these in any drugstore look in the hair product section like near the hair brushes.)  wait and see if your dirty bird seems to want to be misted more... if not they will just stand there but  when you go away will most likely preen themself and hopefully smell better when dry.

Sometimes they will stretch out their wings to capture the mist then you know for certain your bird is having a good time.

You should make sure the cage and perches are clean too.

  7. Haha I bathe my budgies xD

It's nothing insane though..I'm not a crack case, I swear! My little budgie loves it, she goes running around the tub, but of course the water is just up to half of her legs, so it's fine. She actually bathes herself, and then I get a nice towel and rub her (GENTLY) clean :).

Now, keep in mind, my bird has her wings clipped, and is my most well tamed bird. I keep the toilet covered, & I'm EXTREMELY careful, and there by her all the time.

I suggest just grab a wet cloth, and wipe him/her and then once you're done, just wipe him/her dry. They'll be happy & comfortable, even if they're a little scared while you do it. Remember to not keep too much of a strong grip on them, it could squish the poor thing, or it'll bite you, hard.

That's basically the only way. As well, have the paper cleaned in the cage frequently, it causes the odor to cling onto the bird.

    Good luck :)
