  1. i think that since your bird tells you to turn on the tv... he is probably learing some of his vocabulary from that... if you listen to him when he tells you to do it

  2. Thats amazeing lol =D i want a bird like that

  3. dont give your bird alot of mcdonalds fies because they have alot of salt and if you want to give him some then wipe off some of the salt but still dont give him alot.

  4. He should be in the movies!

  5. he's just repeating what you say.. calm down

  6. he repeats what you say if its a parrot

  7. Lol at KatyBell's answer. Well is your bird a parrot? If it is, that explains everything - it's just like what the other people said. Your bird is simply repeating what it's heard.

If it's not a parrot...well then that's sort of creepy....

I don't know what to tell you there. Get a new bird...or send it to Hollywood. You could make millions.

  8. probably repeating thngs he has heard aound the house on tv and radio. They can learn to put things into context. I have a African Grey that will say I love you mommy. When he sees me get the vacuam he says mommie clean. Sometimes they are so smart that ist is scarey but wonderful. :)

  9. Are you sure it's the bird, it may be all in your head... I don't know of any bird that will start talking sentences out of no where...lol

  10. What type of bird is it? I own an African Grey and they are extremely intelligent birds. We have conversations that would crack some people up.

Depending upon the type of bird it is, it could be mimicking-- or as in an African Grey actually learning through observation, talking, environment and such.

  11. Parrots are extremely intelligent ceatures. They are smarter then Chimps and Dolphins. A Grey is rate with the intelligence of a 5 year old child. So this is possible. They can and will put complete sentences together to tell you what they want, even make up their own words for things.

Example: Alex call a "Square"  "Four Corners" that is the way he perceived a square.

  12. if hes a parrot he probably learns the words from what he hears.

  13. Maybe it's a parrot.....
