My birds molting like crazy and now I'm afraid!?

shes loosing so many feathers!!! her tail feathers every feather on her, they're growing back but im worried shes losing them too fast. this i sa parakeet and she is 3 months old

Hmm... I'm not an expert in the subject, but my brother has a parakeet, so... Feathers are... similar to, let's say, nails or hair. If damaged, they can't be replaced. But, however, molting is quite common in birds. The bird might be going through a complete or a partial molt. Complete molting is when all the feathers are replaced, as partial molting is, well, some feathers are replaced. I found a good website that explains all about molting. No need to worry! :D

you need to keep her stimulated! like for instance change her toys around in her cage an try to get 1 that you put food in so she has to work to get it out i'd also get her some multi vitamins that go in her water.
