  1. What about inviting your friends over for a spa night?  Tell them to bring their pjs and fluffly slippers or go to the dollar store and get them flip flops and do each others hair and nails, manicures and pedicures.  Order out pizza or burgers, whatever your favorite food is.

You can also do an around the world dinner party and have different foods from different places, a taco bar, pizza, burgers, etc.  Have food from different places and decorate each area, like in the pizza area, decorate it in an Italian theme, the taco theme, decorate like a Mexican theme, etc.

You can also do a sit down dinner party with you and your friends.  Make it a little more formal.  Ask your mom for help and you and your mom can cook a dinner for you and your friends and have a dinner party at your house, complete with appetizers, salad, main course, and dessert.  Have it a little more formal.

You can also do an Ice Cream bar. Get chocolate Vanilla, and Strawberry Ice Cream (make sure all your guests are ok and none are lactose intolerant meaning allergic to milk products) and go to the dollar store and get those tall sundae glasses and ice cream cones and then lots of different toppings from candy, chocolate and caramel syrup, sprinkes, etc, and have your friends make their own sundaes.  You can even do this with the food from around the world and spa night too.

You can have a movie night and get some Christmas lights and a cheap red carpet and make it so your friends are entering on the red carpet and have the stringed clear lights are going down each side lining the red carpet as they enter your house.  Then have a movie or two lined up for the night and then you can get food and do ice cream. Have popcorn for the movie and and tell them to bring pillows and blankets to lounge out on while watching the movie.  Ask your friends what movie they'd like to see and what YOU want to see so you know what to rent.  Decorate your house in black and white and silver like you're at a movie opening, do the invites in a ticket shape, so they need a ticket to get into this premiere event!

You can do backyard games if it's during the day.  Relay races, potato sack, three legged races, water games, have a bbq with the ice cream bar and then some team games like badmitten and kickball, etc.  Later on when it gets dark you can play flashlight tag, etc.

You can pitch a tent in your yard and ask your friends to bring their blankets and pillows and tell them you're camping out in your yard.  Make s'mores, get some lanterns, etc

You can also get a pinata and fill it with candy and you and your friends can knock it out or get the ones with the strings.  Anything with candy is always a hit!

It doesn't have to be expensive.  It's about being yourself and being with your friends and doing fun things!  I hope some of these ideas help and that you have a fun party!

  2. well when i turned 13, my mom rented a suite in a hotel for the whole weekend for me and 13 of my friends.  we got to have room service, go swimming, play games and of course i got a TONNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN of presents!  we had the actual party in the banquet room (which she hired a party planner for) with pizzas and 4 movies! we had so much fun!  mom took us all shopping and bought each of my friends $300 worth of stuff!  i will never ever forget that birthday as long as im alive!

  3. seeing how we need to keep it cheap why not have a over night pitch a tent in the back yard have everyone bring sleeping bags or a blanket and pillow, have hot dogs and chips serve tea and kool aid

  4. you're a year 8!? that must mean you're younger than me. lol are you only 12? well for your age, you can't throw a big party. go picnic with your friends and family. movies or shopping. something small for now
