My birthday is comming up and I'm turning 24, am I too old for a birthday celebration?

Plus my best buddy's birday is 2 days after mine.. are we too old to give each other gifts; it just seems too awkward.?

  1. No, I had a party on my 25 birthday. and I received several gifts from my friends.


  2. Well if you feel awkward dont do it but how about going out to dinner or something fun. You might just say 'are you ok with not exchanging gifts" Most people are happy when you say that since they just want to maybe  get together or have cake or something

    the gifts thing would depend on your friendship with him I guess. have you exchanged gifts in the past? Would he be bummed if you didn't have a gift this year?

You are never too old to celebrate your birthday.  If anything birthday parties get better and better as you get older because as one matures one is more aware of what is important in life and celebrating your existence on this planet with friends and family is something we are never too old for.
