My bittorrent isnt responding do you know why?

I have this utorrent on windows vista and it isnt responding is there another torrent program i can use on vista with no problems and a good connection speed? cheers

I have utorrent on vista and it works fine for me. First of all make sure there are seeders for your torrent or nothing will download. Then make sure your prot is forworded properly, goto http://portforward.com/ for help on how to forword a port.

If that still doesnt work try using azueruz or bitcomit

I use Vuze (also known as Azureus) on my Vista computer. Works nicely for me.

uTorrent should work on Vista.  Vuze is also a good choice.  This article on the best free bittorrent clients discusses them and others and has links to guides for setting them up for best download speed.  You might want to try the uTorrent guide before switching:
