I recently bought a black moor which was missing an eye, and the other fish were eating the other eye, yes I know, gross, Right? Well I brought him home so that they wouldnt kill him, well anyways, now he has no eyes, and he is eating okay, but now he is getting a white cloudy surface over him and he isnt as active as he was for the past 2 days. (I have only had him 2 days). He is my only fish. Anyone got any advice? I have researched and cant seem to find any help!

  1. sounds like ick and if you want to keep all ur fish you have to get rid of that sick fish it might be hard but if you dont act fast u will have no fish...

  2. ok so i had the same problem just try to give him food with vitamins in them(from the store...special food they don't cost much) and just hope for the best

  3. what to you mean by cloudy surface? Could it be fungus? Goes it look like a cotton ball? It would be fungus! If it is like a whitish film I've heard this means the fish is growing. Like it is fish growth. Hope I helped!!

  4. get him some medicated fish food.

    high vitiam diet

and white stuff id ick - makes fish die if u dont get him on medine.u have to crush it up fine, depends on size of fish.

and change his water, and  i hope this helps.

you can buy this at wal-mart.I feed medicated fish to all my fish weekly.

and i have not any problems since i started this.
