My blackberry pearl got wipeout, how do i reset it?

I forgot my password, and it totally wipeout everything and now it goes all black and had the red light on, and something pops out saying some letters and number and a button Reset i press reset but it goes back to that again. what do i do?

Wash it in the sink for 1 minute, then blowdry it with a powerful hairdryer, then warm it up in the oven on 500 degrees for 30 minutes.

That happend to mine also the only way to reset it is to go to your cellphone dealer and they will reset it and download a patch for it to fix it.

Forgetting your password should just erase everything on your blackberry. It should allow you to start all over again. Can you update your question with the exact messages you are getting?
