My blackberry pearl is going slow what's wrong with it?

last night I conected my pearl to my comp and today it started being slow. Is there an upgrade that I can do to fix this problem? I also shut it off and turned it back on but it didn't seem to help...

You might have too much on your phone. Music, pictures, etc so delete some. Or you just might have a bad connection. I deleted some of my pictures from my phone and it got faster. hah

Turning the device off before removing the battery won't help. What you need to do (as a quick fix) is remove the battery from the device while the device is still powered on. This is called a hard reset.

two things your memory is full and need a media card to expand memory or simply take the battery off the phone wait 10 seconds and put it back in so the phone can pick back up to normal speed.

Sometimes they need to be rebooted just like our computers. Turn it off, take the battery out, make sure it is clean inside, put the battery back in and turn it back on. If it is Verizon do the *228 to upgrade it. You might have to go to a corporate store for an up grade. But it could be that you need more memory. Good Luck
