My blood test today?

i have to get a blood test today and drink a cup of something to be tested for diabetes im 6 months prego and its suppose to take an hour but the doctor didnt say ifd im not suppose to drink anything or eat anything,im kinda hungry.can anyone tell me,thanks!

You can't eat or drink anything for 12 hours prior to the test. The dr. should of told you. When I went to get it done they told me and I had to go home and do it the next day. Good luck.

No food or drinks after midnight the night before, that's what I was told.

I'm pretty sure you're not supposed to eat anything before the test. sorry

Nope you cant have anything until after the test. I was also told not to be too mobile after drinking. In Australia we have to drink at the hospital, and then sit in the waiting room

Yeah,  you can't have any food until you are done..

I just had my test a week ago.  You are able to eat.  My doctor told me to eat what I would normally eat and I did.  My test came back negative.  I know that when one is taking the 3 hour test, they can not eat or drink anything.
