I dropped it recently but it had an Agent 18 case, i thought the ipod was fine but when I plugged it into my speakers a folder with an exclamation point came on. I think it is broken right? How much would it be to fix it?

  1. if you havent had it to long you would be able to bring it in and get it fixed for free as long as you have proof of buying it... maybe email apple and see if they have any idea

  2. They are like $30 on ebay...

  3. just because it shows that symbol doesnt mean its broken, just plug it into itunes and try to use it, if that doesnt work then reset it to factory settings and put your music and other files back on, if that doesnt work then yes i would call apple and ask for help. if its a mini and it is broken then i'd upgrade to a new ipod cus they're really not exspensive as they used to be since they came out with the iphone 3g

  4. ALL iPODS HAVE A YEAR WARRANTY SO IF YOU OWNED IT LESS THEN A YEAR CALL THE MMANUFACTUREAND JUST TELL THEM ITS NOT WORKING AND THEY SHOULD FIX IT OR GIVE YOU A NEW ONE.

  5. probably more than it would cost to buy a new one
