I planted them in late May with potting soil mixed with top soil. 3 packages around my well and 2 packages in direct sunlight in back of house on poles. Any advice would be appreciated

  1. mine just started.... if they are in fertile moist ground they'll make more vine and leaves than blooms... they bloom best when they're hungry and thirsty.... don't baby them... they will bloom eventually... that's their purpose!!....

  2. the secret with these plants I learned by trial and error many moons ago. Keep them moist but STARVE them until they have finished blooming. You see the aim of any plant is to reproduce itself, and by submitting the plant to lack of food it 'thinks' it's dying. Therefore, it sends out a lovely set of bloom before its 'death' in order to make seed. When the main flowering period is over, reward your plant with fertilizer, not too much, to keep it going for next year.  Prune if necessary, immediately after flowering
