I used to be fine with drink any type of alcohol (beer, hard a, cocktails, ect.). However one night I drank way too much. Now I can't drink alcohol at all without feeling sick. I can't even have a few sips of beer without feeling queezy. It's been about 5-6 months since the incident and I still can't drink. Please if there is anything I can do to raise my tolerance or allow me to drink again please let me know.

  1. ya that has happened to me before the best way is to drink regularly for a while instead of just drinking socially

  2. I would recommend seeing a physician. I don't know of anything that you can do, but  it sounds like you may have esophagus damage or digestive issue. I have diverticulitis and can only drink a small amount of alcohol without feeling nauseous. I used to drink like a fish on occasion, now I barely drink at all. I think it is due to esophageal erosion.

  3. you're better off.  Every time I would drink too much and throw up I would be unable to drink again for about a month.  I eventually just stopped drinking and learned I liked it better anyhow.  I would start up again slowly with like 1 beer and just sip on it and watched everyone else get smashed.  Eventually I was able to regain tolerance again.

Still, one night I got really messed up from whiskey, the smell or taste of it, even when it's weakly mixed in a drink makes me wanna throw up and it's been 10 years.

  4. well my dear, you must of had alcohol poisoning.. thats why you dont want to drink. but if you want to know how to drink again i have one answer.. just do it.. if you throw up then drink the next day.. you need to build your tolerance back.. im a semi alcoholic..lol so this may be bad advise
