  1. Your best bet is to see a doctor and have blood taken to learn the current level of your HDL and LDL; good cholesterol and bad cholesterol.  Your doctor will want to know your medical history, eating habits, and other pertinent information.  If your family has a history of high plaque or heart disease, be sure to tell your doctor that.  Your high cholesterol count may be a combination of eating habits, your body chemistry and family history.  There are several good cholesterol perscriptions available and your doctor will want you to combine the meds with better eating habits.  Important item to remember:  high cholesterol has a fine change to lead to heart attacks.

  2. umm

your body produces too much cholestrol?

how did you find that out?

  3. here is a site that's good and can help you fight it with out or low dose of meds.if its in your genes then you really have to watch what you eat,it hides in about every thing.also before you get the blood test done don't eat any thing w/cholesterol in it for 24 hrs.it gives a truer reading. hope this helps.
