I am 35 years old and for over a year now I have been getting a lot of pain in my head. I have had scans and all sorts of tests but got nowhere. Just over the past few months I have gotten worse I suffer with severe pain in my neck, shoulders, elbows, all arm bones, fingers, hips, knees, ankles, chest and well you get the general idea. I am exhausted from pain and everyday stress.I have two children to care for on my own. I am not complaining about that but I feel that the doctors are just messing around. The medication they give me for the pain just keeps increasing and still no answers. I want to know what is wrong the more I wait the worse the pain gets and the worse I think. I am now beginning to think the worst and feel I may have bone cancer or something. This is making my life h**l right now I wish I knew what it was so I could get the right treatment if there is any available..any advice or anyone with same let me know

  1. if medicine doesnt work then its most likely stress because my aunt sorta hs this problem too

  2. Depression can cause all the symptoms you describe. Mental problems often translate into physical pain like backaches, neck pain, exhaustion  and headaches. If regular medicine fails to produce any results, you may want to look into the mental aspect. See a psychologist to see if this is a possibility.

    Good Luck.

  3. Hi There,

Sorry to see that you are in so much pain.  Doesn't look to me like anyone has taken your problems seriously.  When does the pain happen, is it at night or when you wake in the morning or all day?

I think you need to ask or demand a referral to a Rheumatologist for further assessment to get to the root cause.

There are many conditions that cause pain, conditions like lupus, Vitamin D deficiency (Osteomalacia), arthritis, all treatable conditions but unless you have had some blood tests you can't rule these things out.  A Rhuematologist knows what tests to do and where to start.

If your regular Dr doesn't want to help you then look elsewhere as you are not getting looked after.

I wish you luck and freedom from pain and worry.

  4. it maybe a hypoglycemia effect and it can cause all the symptoms you mentioned

try to avoid sugar and high carbohydrates for a few weeks, and instead eat fruits nuts veggies and protein, fish chicken cheese eggs,

eat small meals 5-6 times a day instead of 2 large ones,

it takes about 4-5 days to recover after you start all this will feel tired a bit more but go on, this is the way out from suffer

all this does not contradict the medication you already take and keep it up as long as you have pain, as the pains go away take less

  5. I suggest you get a second opinion.

  6. I think you urgently need to see a chiropractor. It sounds as if you have a problem with your neck, This may well be the cause of your headaches and all the other aches you have. I seriously doubt that you have bone cancer, as this would have been picked up on scans, blood tests, etc. Please, please look in the phone book for a registered chiropractor and go and visit him/her. It's not free, but the medical route is just not helping, and how much is a pain-free life worth? I am now disabled but if I had seen a chiropractor thirty years ago I probably wouldn't have been. Don't waste time, get the one treatment that has the potential to cure this.

  7. Have you been tested for Rheumatoid Arthritis, I have this and a lot of your symtoms are like mine.
