My bookbag is too big. How do I make it appear smaller?

I have the new Jansport bookbags with a total of 5 zippers areas. I have to carry a 3-inch binder, and a 2-inch binder along with some composition notebooks. I changed the 2-inch to a 1-inch because I can get away with that, but I still have the big 3 inch binder.

Should I put the 3 inch in the smaller pocket, and the rest in the big pocket, or the other way around?

if yours has a strap that you put over your shoulder than me and you have th same one. i think it's a fine size for  everything. your not going to have all that stuff i there at once.
