  1. Blue Cross Blue Shield is an excellent starting point. If those interested in coverage are basically healthy, then individual/family plans are the way to go most likely. Maternity usually isn't covered on these plans, and is the main difference in coverage between group and individual. The other main difference is cost, with group insurance averaging twice the cost of individual.

Individual HSA, (health savings account,) qualified plans from BCBS are very good.

  2. He can contact companies like Humana, Blue Cross Blue Shield and others and get quotes from them.

  3. For my small business clients I have referred them to AFLAC.  they are never the least expensive but they do a great job for my clients.

  4. You should go for a proper program with an expert's help for a better  management. Check out here for some useful info and tips.http://health-insurance.expert-tip.info/...

  5. Go to a local insurance agent. Especially someone he does business with already. They'll be more invested in finding him the best deal.

  6. Hi. I am not a benefits agent, but I would direct him to a local agent or call one of the large benefit companies direct.. Aetna, Blue Cross, etc,,,,
