I think she is going to be fired because she attracts too much attention and is too competent- she makes our lazy peers look bad!

I know my boss has no reason to fire her. Will my peer be eligible for unemployment if she is fired for general purposes?

  1. Two words: "At will"

Three guesses as to what that means, and the first two don't count. And no, she won't be eligible for unemployment.

  2. They have to have a really good reason to fire her or she can sue them.

A good lawyer will help her to win and she can sue the boss and  the company and subpoena you and anyone else to testify against the them and for her.
