  1. This mean you have move up the corporate ladder.

You get to boss other people around.

    Cool.

  2. I don't see any problem with it.  I have trained many employees on different tasks and I am "just an employee" also.  It has given me more to put on my resume and that has impressed potential employers.

  3. If all you want to be is an employee there, then absolutely not!  You should never seek, much less be asked for more responsibility.

  4. Sure but tread carefully because if you are highly skilled (educated) then you could be training yourself out of a job and not necessarily into a better one. I have trained new people as an employee. It's not a big deal but my father who is an engineer has been asked to for non-engineers and he basically refuses. He holds back. Depending on your circumstances then be smart. Maybe don't give away all of your secrets.

  5. Take it as a compliment. You must be very knowledgeable in your position. Go with the flow and use it as leverage when it comes time for a promotion.

  6. Do you want to become more than "just an employee"? Do you want to learn more, become more valuable and be viewed as a team player? stop complaining and do it. You are being tested by management to see how you handle new tasks.

  7. of course

Boss gives you a directive to train peole,  you carry it out.

What would be wrong with that ?

  8. Yes, absolutely right. You can feel that when you train another person, the lesson you know become improved than your previous level of knowledge. Thus you benefit yourself more and more by training others. Your level of confidence goes up and the extra practice lead you to more perfection. In a word, it better benefit yourself. Do not be annoyed.

You being an employee is having a rear opportunity to improve yourself in knowledge base and perfection. What a good scope!

Perhaps it is the pavement for your lifting to a new height in the company.

  9. Yes he can. Most places have their employees train the new people.
