My boston terrier female and my fiancee's yellow lab hate each other?

I have 2 Boston terrier females and my fiancee' has a huge male yellow lab. One of my bostons love him the other hates him. She freaks out when ever he is around and has bite him for getting to close to her. Now at some point we all have to live together. How can I help all of these dogs get along?

Hi, when we introduced a new dog to our family I was told to let the original dog be the queen.  Let her put the new one in her place, but as with children watch to make sure no one will get injured in the incident.  It took two months and we were questioning whether it would ever happen, but they are best of pals now and will look for each other in the house or outside.  It sounds strange but they have to adjust to sharing their owner with someone else as well.  Be patient, re-enforce good behavior and try to be fair to all and hopefully things will work out.  Good Luck

Get them to know each other slowly. Make sure that if the dogs are nice to each other to give them a treat . But try to itroduce them slowly like putting a baby gate up and make sure to put a blanket or towel over it if it has holes or the dogs might bite each other. And some small dogs don't like big sized dogs.But a good amount of small and big sized dogs like each other.

how long have they been together and how did you introduce them?  Was it on even turf...what I mean is outside of each other's homes.  

It took a few months for mine to get along...and my older dog still can't stand the little terrier but is Dealing with it.  Some dogs never like each other but the bickering gets old so they don't do it as much.

They need to establish dominance without your interference.  Let them fuss, eventually one will back down and things will be fine.  Just be sure to maintain yours and your boyfriends dominance over all dogs.  I have a 14 year old dog that hated all other dogs, we got 2 new puppies, lots of fights, but in the end the older dog established she was on top, now the puppies cower to her instead of trying to fight.
