Question:

My bottom tooth hurts pretty bad when it is exposed to cold things?

My teeth are sometimes sensitive but this one bottom front tooth is extremely sensitive today, even when i breath in heavily through my mouth, if it is cold it hurts, i dunno what the deal is. any ideas?

Sometimes tooth sensitivity just happens with no known cause.  Try switching to a sensitive toothpaste and see if that works.  Usually it takes about 2 weeks to really help.  Also you can see your dentist if it is extreme and they can put a varnish on it to help "seal" it to prevent it from being exposed to the the things that are disturbing it.  Hope this helps!!

  5. Use sensidyne toothpaste and ACT mouthwash.

  6. Ask your Mom to get some Orogel at any drugstore & apply per the directions. This is only a temporary 'fix', not a cure. You have a nerve ending that's causing the problem: you'll need to see a dentist. Good luck! :)
