My Boxer puppy Kane is around 16lbs and will be only 10 weeks this wednesday!! hahah The monther and father were exceptionally huge too, so im figured he is destined to be a big boy. He is not fat by any means he is just very tall and very long and just big. anyone else have a boxer puppy?

  1. I get so excited whenever i hear of someone getting a Boxer! I just love the Breed.  Just had to put down "my son" Spencer last week. Going to pick him up from the vet tomorrow so i can bury him in my backyard.  Took me this long to dig a big enough hole to accommodate him.  When i got him at 4 mths. of age he was already a whooping 35 lbs.  My mother asked "that's a puppy?".  At  one year he was 60 lbs.  After 2 years he was at his adult  weight of 73 lbs.  The name Kane is awesome.  Soon he will look as big as a Dane.  Like Spencer was at  his age he must look like all legs.  They tend to be class clowns until their frames fill out.  Be sure to take plenty of puppy pictures - i'm so glad i did.  Good luck with your new addition. May you be blessed with many happy and healthy years together. My boy was 11 yrs. old.

  2. Well, that is the size most boxers are at that age. My aunt has boxers that were that size as puppies. Boxers are usually tall and long. Be prepared for a big boy for he should get exceptionally big.

  3. lol.

my mastiff/doberman/apbt mix was 23 lbs at 10 weeks

now he is 12 weeks and 27 lbs

  4. That's actually about right on. 16 pounds for a 10 week old male is normal.

  5. my boxer was 16.5 lbs at 10 wks so that's about right she is 4 months now and weighs 29 lbs her picture is my avatar
