My boyf got arrested for breaking his probation because he had a warrent issued. What is happens now? help me!

His crazy old roommate called his PO informing his he has moved in with me before he contacted his PO to give him the new address. The PO issued a warrant for braking his probation. My boyf call him and explain the situation. In the same day, later at night the cops show up with an anonymous call about where he was and arrest him. What is going to happen now?

There has to be a Petition to Revoke Probation filed and a hearing on that petition. Similar to a trial but instead of a jury, the judge will decide if he is guilty of violating probation. He can be violated and sent to jail or continued on probation. I think this is a technical violation and he will be sanctioned and sent home.

Well, wasn't he suppose to call "PO" before he actually moves in. People move in to difference location when they are sure about it before moving in. Right? Well, except for boy friend of course.

His probation will be revoked at his court date and he will only get 120 days in jail.That's all most likely unless he gets a tough judge,then he could easily get 6 months.Good luck.

He goes back to jail. You can't break probation and continue on release. They explained the rules before his release - it was his choice to break them.
