His mother has 2 houses we live in one and his brother and sister live in the other right next door (the mother lives at another location). We have been dating for a year and a half but living together for 10 months. They go in and out constantly...always ringing the bell...always wanting something...so needy...so intrusive...so annoying and I feel like I can't breathe...I just wanna leave or move or something.

We almost broke up twice because of it and now we are trying to fix things ...he begged me to give him another chance. I did because I really love him but I just think he cannot function on his own because he is so used to having his family around. We are in our 30s and I would like to settle down and possibly start a family...perhaps get married. But I feel like he will never be ready for any of that anytime soon cause he is like a kid when he's around his family and I hate it.

Before I moved in with him...he was like a different person when he came to my house. He was calm and more focused. But when he is here next to his family...he is like a kid and gets treated like a kid and it makes me sick (hence the reason we almost broke up twice)

I fear that free rent and all if we don't move SOON I will have to leave him because I feel like I'm dating a child who is too scared to grow up.

What should I do???

  1. sorry for your sad situation ,yes it is better to move,if he works ,has a good job ,and you care about him,and he listens to you ,yes move.

i could not live under these circumstances either, talk to him, move ,and have a life of your own.

            good luck and god bless.

  2. move to a diffent state. then he will not act like a kid. like you said," he acts like a kid around his family"
