My boyfriend and I are looking for work in the mines in western australia or qld?

i was wondering what the best website/number/company is the best to go thru to get a immediate start.? i have experiance in sales customer service receptionist he is a experianced labour!please help!

Well, i don't know about WA as I'm in queensland, but i have been trying for 2yrs to get into any qld mine and still can't get a job.

Very very frustrating,i can tell you, especially when you have shelled out over $5000 for generic inductions,medicals and truck licence,moved north to better your chances, i could go on....

Hope you have done your research on the areas you want to move to and have plenty of backup $$$$ in the bank,as rental accom in mining areas is either so expensive you need to work in the mines to afford living there,or there just isnt any accom avalible. No Joking!!!

There are people living in their cars in van parks(thats if your lucky enough to get a spot)

Being an experienced labourer he may be lucky to get in, but keep in mind it can take awhile sometimes.

My hubby used to work closely with those companies.  The person above has given good websites so I just wanted to add that you will find it hard to find a job in sales and customer service... there's not a whole lot of use for that kind of thing on a mine site!  You would do well getting yourself a truck licence... they prefer women for that job (women are said to be more gentle with the gears, etc when driving) and you get payed a fortune for it.
