My boyfriend and I have broken up, but do you think its possible for us to get back together?

Me and my boyfriend sat down yesterday night, as I had some issues to raise, one was I felt like he had backed off a bit, and two I felt like maybe he wasn't interested.

It turns out that he has said that he loves me, but he is not ready to committ, and that he just wants to be single for a while til he is ready. We had been together 9 months, and obviously I am quite upset. He said to me that he wants to stay in contact with me to see how i am doing in so many months time etc, and his sister, n parents have text me to say that they would like to stay in contact with me too.

When he says he wants to keep in contact with me, to see how I am doing in so many months time?

I am getting the impression that he might be wanting to see if I am single, am I reading this wrong?

When a guy says that he wants to be single for a while before he is ready to commit it means he wants to sleep with as many girls as possible before he settles down with you.Dont take any of that cr&p from him.Tell him its now or never and you dont want his dirty finger after its been around other women

flick him why wait for him so he can have s*x with other girls and then come back to you and try and put his herpes infected parts inside of you?? you dont want that for yourself your better than that, although this will be really hard for you just  find a boy who is ready to commit and ready to show love

Forget him, there is no way my boyfriend could tell me were going on a break and if he did he aint ever touching, speaking or seeing me again.  Whats the point in having a break.  Be free and single and enjoy your self for a bit and put you first lets see how he likes that!

Guys huh and they say woman are hard to understand. I had somewhat the same issue about 3 weeks ago. My guy is in the military and leaving in January (but so am I) and the past 2 times his g/f's cheated on him while he was gone. Well, we decided to be friends and 1 night we were out at the same place and got into a huge fight. After that for 2 weeks I did not text, call, email or talk/look at him if we were out at the same place. Then one night we were out at the same place and he came up to me and said he wanted to talk and he said that he was sorry and called him self every name in the book told me he missed and was always looking at his phone wishing I would say something to him and that he is just scared he wants more that just a bf/gf relationship between us and due to what has happened in the past when he went overseas it scares him to be hurt agian. We are now taking things slow we talk everyday and lately we both have learned that we can only rely on each other when help is needed. We do make plans to spend just me and him time together and once a week we do something with my daughter. It's a slow process, but at least he is in my life. And for all those people who think that everytime a guy says he is not ready to commit it's because he wants to get all the *** he can, that's not always the case (yes sometimes it is) and yes I did think that is what mine wanted to do but I learned differently. Sometimes, they just get scared and think the best way to deal with it is to back off so my advice, don't call, text email look or say anything to him for awhile. It will be hard to do I know but if you can be strong enough to do it for a bit you will learn if its just because he wants to play or just a little scared of being that close to some one. Needless to say if he never comes around agian then well he wants to play, if he does come around and wants to talk he is going to open up and tell you what really is going on with him. I hope all works out.
