Your boyfriend is jealous of your dog?  I don't see any reason for you to feel bad about it.  I do wonder about him, though.  If you haven't already, I'd strongly suggest talking to him about it.  Jealousy of any kind does not bode well.

Just make sure that your time with the dog isn't time with the dog, it's time with your boyfriend and the dog. When you come home (or your bf comes home) kiss him and say hello to him before looking at the dog. Go on walks together. Sit on the couch together with the dog on the floor at your feet. Play fetch with tthe dog together. Yes, it's an expensive dog, but it's a dog. With proper training, it shouldn't be coming between you and your bf.
