Okay well Yesterday evening my boyfriend brought a baby kitty home. Maybe 3 days old. he said the mom was not paying any attn to her. The kitten didnt look hungry, her tummy was full. Anyways. there was some boys out there trying to kick the kitten. And so my boyfriend scooped her up and ran her home to me.

I need any thing that would help me to keep this kitty alive. Should i just take her to a pet store? I know they would adopt her but im just scared. I want to do this by myself. Here are some of the things i have done.

1.Went to Wal-mart and got a nursing bottle and some kitten formula.

2. I have made it go to the bathroom by rubbing it with a paper towel. (i know that is necessary for survival)

3.She dosent seem like she wants to eat that much. Do i need to make her eat or what? Please tell me anything you know!

  1. There's a lot of people that manage to do this-and do it successfully too:) Just take it to the vets, and they will give her/him a look over and give you lots of suggestions on what to do/how to look after the kit/what to look out for in case it needs to go back to the vet. If you have to wait till tomorrow or whatever to get the kit to the vet, keep it in an enclosed space (my friends used baskets) with a hot water bottle in there (with a nice comfortable blanket over the top of the hot water bottle) and make sure it stays warm:) keep doing what you are doing; trying to feed it, and helping it go to the toilet (a constipated kitten is not a good thing-neither is diarrhoea, if that ever happens take it straight to the vet :) ). As long as it is warm, fed and toileted you'll be ok-just get it to the vet for that look over as soon as you can. They are full of professional, helpful advice!

    Good Luck!

  2. Take the kitten to the vets for them to examine it, tell its age and help you with any questions you may have.
