My boyfriend cant maintain an erection?

Ive been with him for 3 years and he has never been able to keep an erection. He can get one but it does floppy again. He says its the same for masterbation. Weve tried lots of different things even bought certain pills that apparently work.

Its beginning to upset him quite a lot. What can we do? he said hes really scared of going to the doctors.

The problem is either physical or psychological. Is there any possibility that he can achieve an erection with somebody with a different gender than you? This might be hard to take emotionally but it definitely happens.

Just be as reassuring and understanding as you can be, this is probably a really hard time for him and he needs you in his corner.  It's understandable for him to be ashamed or embarrassed to go to the doctor.  Try and talk to him about contacting his doctor and doing some research about erectile dysfunction on-line.  Be as supporting as you can and try to keep your boyfriend as stree-free as he can be.  Stress is a HUGE factor in erectile dysfunction.
