be the culprit. He is a recovering adict and he binge uses at first provigil and now a medication that's supposed to be "adict friendly" but yet more powerful and closer to Adderol, during test times. He says he's talked to his sponsor and his psyciatrist about it and they said it is not a relaspe. He will take 3 instead of one perscribed, and stay up for 3 days to study for big tests, he's gotten in wrecks before, and done other crazy behavior too. We are having a lot of problems in our relationship, he is blaming all of his life problems on me, being verbally abusive and he slapped me the other day and he has never hit me before. He is paranoid that I am going crazy, and he will only be around me in public places, although ever time I see him he yells, and I'm calm the whole time. I don't think that he has any clue that he has a problem, but my friends told me that I shouldn't mention it, and they wouldn't either, he just has to figure it out himself. I'm just worried because he is a SERIOUS adict.

  1. He is not telling you the truth, his sponsor, nor his psychiatrist would tell an ADDICT that its okay to use the medication that way.  Either insist on going with him to talk to the psychiatrist so you can get the truth first hand or cut loose from this guy.
