My boyfriend in boot camp hasn't received any of my letters

Question

my boyfriend hasn't received any of my letters.Others have in his squad. He is stationed in Fort Leonard Wood Missouri. I have sent 7 letters since monday this week and all of the letters i have gotten from him says he still hasnt recieved any. Hes starting to panic. Has anyone else had this problem? Does mail just take longer to get there? Please help

It takes about a week for a letter to get from you to him, because it has to enter the military mail system.  If you're really worried, double check the address, but it's too soon to worry.

If you have sent seven letters since monday and he has somehow been able to get word to you that he has not received them yet, he will probably get them all at one time.

i think that sometimes they open then up and look at them. also i think that they give them to  them at once every once in a awhile

It does take a little while to process the letters, but you should double check the company code etc.

My sister was at Fort Leonard Wood (a.k.a. - Fort Lost Woods) and it took a little over a week for her to get my mail.

He may have gotten on the bad side of his DI and his mail is being held as punishment... Basic can be like that, don't worry it's only 8 weeks , he should be able to call you soon... don't worry..

I would give it a few days. Summertime is an especially busy time at BCT. They usually have a lot more people in training than during other parts of the year. This means a lot more mail to sort through and deliver. If he doesn't get them by wednesday, I would verify that you have the correct address or have him verify that he gave you the correct address.
