My boyfriend is @ basic and said that we aren't allowed to come to his graduation because he is doing AIT ?

traing right after Basic is that true that we cant go to his graduation from basic just the graduation from AIT training?

when i graduated basic training family was allowed to come the day before and the day of graduation.  we shipped out the next day, he might be lying, see if any of his family is going to the graduation.  you can also call the base and they will give you information about the graduation.

When my brother graudated from basic training we were allowed to go to both. The day before graduation is family day and then the day of graduation from basic we saw him til 6PM. And then we were allowed to go to his AIT graduation too. It sounds like he is lying to you, so I would really look into that, unless there is a really good reason why you can't go to basic, but I can't see what that would be

It depends on what his MOS is.  If he's in OSUT, like MP training, then it's possible because his unit will just go straight from Basic Training into the AIT portion without a break.  I don't know if they even have a ceremony for that anymore.  He's the best one to ask about it, and you should post this under Military too.
