My boyfriend is signing up for the army... ?

My boyfriend is signing up for the army and I’m becoming really frightened about it, I don’t know what to expect, and all I ever hear about the army in garbage and how relationships never work….i am so in love with him and I’m going to wait for him.

Will I ever hear from him when he’s in basic training? And if so how many times, and how often?

yeah... he'll be allowed to make a few calls.  But, keep in mind they'll be a little jealous of his time.

I'm just going through this myself..

my boyfriend went to boot camp in june

and he's back this friday! so im super excited

&& from what i know you'll get a letter from him as often as he can write to you [although they are pretty busy]

you might get a phone call usually on a sunday.

&& you can write to him as many times as you want to remind him you're still there when he gets back

because the drill srgts & other people around him will constantly tell him to not hope he has a gf waiting back home.

So write often!
