Question:

My boyfriend is trying to lose weight?

Hi everybody,

My boyfriend is a little overweight and on a mission to get healthy this year. We go to colleges in different towns, so working out with him is not an option. I'm petite and can't afford to lose any weight myself. Any ideas for supporting him?

  1. let him go  wheat  free. No pasta, pizza, bread and so on. And no food after 7 p.m.  People  achieve  marvellous  results  with it. Depending on your initial  weight,  you can drop upwards from 20 pounds a month. If you don't eat  wheat  then you don't eat all those sticky, fatty goey cakes, you don't  eat  junk  food,  and  you don't eat biscuits. But your diet is still  balanced. It costs nothing, and you do not have to calculate points or to buy special meals or plans.


  2. honestly here...i know that you want to help and be there for him...the only thing you can do is support him from the sideline...especially since you dont want to workout yourself and live away from him.  bottom line is he needs to want to do it for himself.  and he needs to stick to it in his mind.  tell him to set small goals at first....week one to make it to the gym everyday and do something cardio or weights.  week two to continue making the right eating decisions.  and so forth.  he can make weight loss goals but dont step on the scale everyday.  and one thing to remember is muscle weighs more than fat.  so at first he will lose weight and then the muscle will start building and he will level off or gain a bit back...this cannot upset him.  other things you can do is when he is doing this tell him you see a difference...tell him your looking thinner...this will help his drive to stay to it.  good luck with it all.

  3. Just try to be healthy and active to support him (you don't have to lose weight, just tone up)! And tell him how hot (ikh I hate the word) he looks when the pounds roll off :)
