My boyfriend just bought a Viper!! But is it to risky?

Ive heard some horror stories and some good stories, I just know he likes to pin cars and bikes out...but this time, it worries me.

I just hope he's not in over his head. The Viper is a tough car to master and is definitely a "driver's car".

Poseurs drive Corvettes; real men drive Vipers.

I worked for an export company in the early 90's and we shipped a lot of these cars to Europe. I found out very quickly just how quirky these cars were in the handling and go fast departments. And my wife still remembers the burn she got from the sidepipes. I hear that the newer ones have the handling problems sorted out but they do put a lot of power to the ground.



Wish the lucky bugger a safe ride for me.

do you mean risky by it being fast,yes it is,those are very fast cars,this is one car he might want to get use to driving before he try,s to peg this one out,they run and drive extremely good but they are also very fast and very dangerous,if he,s a good driver he shouldn't have no problems,he may scare you with what this car can do,its fast,good luck,

for some odd reason, it's hard to believe he bought an $80,000+ car. if you are worried, why don't you tell him? and if you did tell him and he insists on having it anyways, break up with him or at least refuse to ride in it or take part in it. simple as that

A pu**y viper!??? Do him a favor and tell him to return that POS. Get a Corvette z06 or a ZR1 if he can afford that one as well :)

Who cares... Get on his insurance policy and wait. When you ride with him.... Just wear your seatbelt and keep the seat as far back from the dash as possible....

Guy has good taste> But it a great car for sporting around not trashing> If he Likes to abuise high price toys he has some issues> So best not ride with him as those car are fast with No protection if crashed>

Stay with him, just give him a chance. If he does anything else like this, I would definitely break up.
