  1. if it is army thang, it is never good. i hate it.

  2. he will write fairly quick once he is in his basic unit.  first few days are reception, integration and issue.  those folks don't do mail.  Once he gets to his basic unit, he will be able to call and write.  the unit address and mail rules are given very soon after he gets there.  He will also have an outline on his graduation dates.  If you plan on attending, reserve a room soon, hotels book up during graduation week.

  3. If he is Infantry then he will be gone for 3 months (BCT and AIT combined) half way about a month and a half he will have bct graduation and depending on behavior he may or may not get a family pass for the weekend. THey can start writing immediately it just takes sometime to get the first letter out with the address. His mom and dad (unless he specified you to receive the letters) should be receiving a letter shortly to inform them of what is happening, what will happen and the dates of events. Best of luck to the both of you and God Bless.

  4. This is very simple, no worries your boyfriend will write very soon. Once your boyfriend has landed in Georgia there will be sergeants waiting for him there (usually at the USO, its a military building in the airport). There will be many other young men and women arriving at the same time with your Bf. Once everyone on the sergeants list had arrived they will take them on a bus to Fort Benning. They will not go directly to basic, they will stay in a separate barracks for about four to five days for long long boring days of test, shots and uniform and equipment assigning. After all this they will be greeted by there lovely charming drill sergeants! They will be taken to there barracks where they will spend the next 9 weeks of there life. The first few days will be extremely stressful and hard on everyone, he may not be able to write back very soon from lack of sleep or exhaustion. Hopefully he brought some letters and paper of his own because if not he probably wont be able to buy any till about the second week. ( this also depends on the sergeants) REMEMBER THIS! You are his life line and I mean this seriously ( I write from experience) He will need you more than ever when hes over there. Write daily if possible, encourage him and send lots of pictures ( but make sure there "clean" the sergeants will show them to everyone!). To get a letter from home is literally the greatest thing that he can get over there in his little h**l. If you have anymore questions on BCT or his training just ask me or other military personnel. Let me know if I helped I can use some best answers!

  5. roughly 14-15 weeks from the time he gets there is when graduation will be, but when he's in the BCT portion for the first week or so his Commander will have him mail home a letter he's not allowed to read and on that letter will be family day and graduation dates.

  6. idk much about nothing but im sure its about 4months then u graduate, u can probley write to him any time.  u should contact the fort

  7. Why do you not go to his recruiter and ask him personally?
